I ordered my 5th Stitch Fix back in March and I’m so excited to share another review post with you! I think it’s safe to say by now that I sincerely love this company and I can’t recommend them enough. If you’re interested, you can view my past Stitch Fix posts here. For those of you who are not familiar with Stitch Fix, here’s how it works (in a nutshell):
Stitch Fix picks out five pieces to send to you to try on based on your answers to their style profile quiz. You can schedule your Fix to arrive on any date you’d like. They charge a $20 styling credit, which will go towards whatever items you decide to keep. When you get the items, you try everything on and send back what you don’t want. Your Fix comes with a pre-paid return envelope, so returning is super simple – you just drop the bag off in your local USPS mailbox.
So let’s see what I got this time…
Pomelo French terry stripe blazer – $72: The card that I received with my order noted that my stylist reviewed my blog (I always provide a link!), and she based my Fix on my love of polka dots and stripes. I instantly fell in love with this striped blazer because it’s so me! It’s such a classic piece that can be worn with almost anything. Luckily it fits like a dream, so I kept it!
Mia Melon back cutout jersey top – $54: I feel like this is the one piece in my Fix that completely missed the mark. I don’t hate it, but it’s not my style at all! The color was really pretty and vibrant in person, and the cutout is cute, but this top wasn’t for me. I sent it back.
Renee C striped maxi skirt – $48: Hooray for more stripes! Unfortunately, the fit was all off with this skirt. I have oddly long legs for my body, so it’s difficult to find maxis that are long enough for me. This one it above my ankles, which was no bueno! It was also pretty form-fitting in the tummy/butt area, which highlighted a belly pooch on me. Gross. This skirt got sent back.
Baggu canvas duck bag – $38: Polka dots for the win! I’ve never received a bag in my Fix, so this one was a bit of a surprise for me! I love the color and print, but ultimately I decided that I don’t need another bag, so I sent it back.
Yumi chambray dot print dress – $98: Fit and flare, belted, and polka dot? This one was obviously a keeper! I was a little hesitant about that price tag (yikes!), but George kept telling me how cute it was on and how could I say no to that? I blame him for this one.
So here’s a breakdown of what I paid: striped blazer ($72) + polka dot dress ($98) = $170 – $75 credit = $95.00 total
Overall, what do you guys think? Have you tried Stitch Fix before? Let me know in the comments!
