Welcome to day 5 of WEDDING WEEK! You didn’t think I’d let the whole week go by without talking about fashion, did you? This is a fashion blog after all!
The only requirement that I put on my bridesmaids was that their dresses be blush pink and knee length. Other than that, I let them decide what dress they wanted. I picked tons of favorites from several retailers just to provide some guidance, but what they ended up choosing was totally their decision. I love how they each picked a dress that was truly their style. I also let them make their own styling choices – from shoes, to jewelry, to hair. It was important to me that they were all comfortable in what they were wearing. In the end, I think it’s a cohesive look all together but you can definitely see their own styles shining through! I just can’t get over how gorgeous each of them looked!
The Groomsmen & Groomswoman
George knew right off the bat that he wanted to be in a classic black and white tux for our wedding. I think he looked so dashing! We picked out a classic look for the groomsmen to match, but he let me add in a pop of blush pink with the ties and pocket squares. We had George’s groomswoman wear black as well so that she could match the guys, but we gave her a bouquet that matched the bridesmaids. I think they all looked so good together!
My cousins served as our three ushers for our wedding. I just asked them to wear grey shirts and black pants so that they could blend in with the wedding party without having to wear a tux. They actually ended up all going shopping together to get matching shirts, which I thought was so funny! I didn’t really care if they matched each other exactly, but when I saw them all together I thought they were so adorable! I know they’re grown men, but they’re my younger cousins so I can use the term “adorable” if I want!
The Ring Bearer & Flower Girl
Our little kiddo served as our ring bearer (I really wanted to type “ring BEAR”…HIMYM anyone?) and our niece served as our flower girl. We essentially had both of them be mini-me’s to George and myself. Aren’t they the cutest?! Neal’s tux was rented from Men’s Warehouse and it’s the exact same as his dad’s. Kira’s adorable white dress was an awesome find that my sister in law got from Amazon. I love how it mimicked my dress, right down to the sparkly belt!
