I’ve had these new Sole Society booties for about two weeks now and I’m already obsessed with them. I know that bloggers tend to throw around the word “obsessed” a little too much, but I can guarantee that you will be seeing these booties on my feet all fall and winter long.
I’ve been a huge fan of Sole Society since they first opened up online a few years ago. I have countless pairs of shoes from them from back in the day, but I haven’t purchased any within the past year or so. I really cut back on my shoe buying habit because my collection was getting a little ridiculous. I had bought an insane amount of heels that I hardly ever wore, so I cut myself off from buying new shoes unless if they were practical and necessary. Lately I’ve been sticking to only buying ballet flats and flat sandals because that’s what I wear the most often. However, when fall rolls around every year I always feel the urge to purchase a new pair of boots or booties. Last year it was my Cole Haan brown suede boots (first seen here), and this year it’s these beautiful navy suede Sole Society Lyric booties.
If you’ve never tried Sole Society before, I highly suggest you do! Every pair of shoes I’ve purchased from them has been really high quality. I love that these booties have a decent sized heel, but they’re still completely comfortable. I can wear them for hours without my feet hurting, which is awesome! I’ve also been considering these suede tassel booties in the eggplant shade, but I’m not sure yet if I really need another pair.
Anyway – on to the outfit! I wore this to my friend Kristen’s baby shower last weekend, which was so much fun. I was really happy that Le Tote sent me a cute dress in my latest shipment because I’ve been going to so many showers and events lately! This dress reminds me a lot of my Banana Republic dress I purchased in New Orleans last year which was seen on the blog here (ironically, I wore that to a baby shower too!).
