Hey y’all! Today is my last post from our trip to Albuquerque. On Christmas Eve, we ate a delicious breakfast at Garcia’s (always a must) and then headed over to the foothills of the Sandia Mountains to see some snow. There wasn’t much on the ground, but it was snowing up in the mountains and the view was so beautiful! As a born-and-raised Texas gal, I am always completely enthralled by snow. Neal also had a great time scrounging up snow from the ground and throwing it at his daddy. We had so much fun!
One day I would love to go to the top of the Sandias. They have a tramway that you can ride all the way up to the top, but I am so scared of heights that I refuse to ride it. It looks terrifying! George said the only other way we can get up there is if we hike, and that didn’t sound much better to me! I am so UN-sporty, out of shape, and a total weanie. I want to go to the top during winter in order to see the snow, but the thought of hiking in the cold is pretty unappealing (I know I sound like such a brat!). Will I ever make it to the top? Who knows! Until then, I will continue to enjoy the foothills every time I visit.
Anyway…I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I will be back next week with some Houston outfits and general life updates. We have started the process of remodeling some things in our house in preparation to eventually sell and move. There are no official plans yet, but I foresee lots of excitement, stress and expenses coming our way in the near future. I’ll keep you all updated!
