When George and I shot this outfit last weekend featuring one of my most-worn dresses, I wondered how often I had shown it here. I went back through my archives and realized that this is the 5th (!!!) time I’ve worn it on the blog. Since I typically only shoot outfits twice a week, there’s no telling how many times I’ve worn this dress in reality. Considering that this dress only cost me about $15 from H&M while on a trip to Denver, I would say that was money very well spent! I really do wear this dress a lot – it’s so comfortable and easy to wear that I often throw it on just to run errands or lounge around at home. I guess it’s just my fancy version of yoga pants.
The best part about having such a versatile piece in my closet is that I can wear it all year long, no matter the season. All it takes is a little bit of layering or accessorizing to come up with different weather-appropriate looks. Here’s a rundown of all the ways of worn this dress on the blog so far – with a pink belt and white wedges (August 2013), with leggings and boots (February 2014), with a floral print kimono (May 2014), with a striped headband (July 2014) and today’s look with a cardigan and booties. I’d love to know which look is your favorite!
