I’m really excited to share this look with you today because this graphic floral dress is one my most favorite things I’ve ever worn. I wore this to my stepsister’s wedding in Buffalo, NY a few weeks ago. I love the bold floral print, and the full skirt was perfect for twirling and dancing. In preparation for our trip, I had ordered and tried on several dresses before eventually settling on this one. I actually wasn’t sure about this one at first because the straps were too long. It was hard for me to visualize how the top would fit once it was altered, but I decided to keep it anyway and had my mom take up the straps. Once that small change was made, the dress fit perfectly and I was so excited to wear it!

The dress is made of a material commonly referred to as “scuba” because it feels similar to a wet suit. The material feels thick and sturdy to the touch, but it was so lightweight to wear and the skirt had a lot of movement to it. I also love that I lugged this dress around in my suitcase until I wore it the last night of our trip, and I never had to iron it. I had previously never bought anything in a scuba material, but now I’m a believer! Asos always has a huge selection of beautiful scuba dresses (some are linked in the widget below), so I’m sure I will be buying more soon.

Side note – I know that my off-white cross body saddle bag that I’m wearing here doesn’t quite match. I actually forgot to pack a clutch to go with this dress. If you’re heading to an out of town wedding, I’d definitely recommend to bring something that matches! The bag I had worked fine, so it wasn’t a big deal to me, but I just thought I’d throw that little tidbit out there.

Dress: Asos (currently under $40!) / Heels: Nine West / Bag: Sole Society / Earrings & Necklace: Kendra Scott

How stinkin’ cute is this two tone sundress from Studio 15? I just really love this cheery dress, especially for summer! Studio 15 is a new shop to me, but I am so thrilled to have connected with them because I really believe in their mission. Their passion is all about affordable style and philanthropy in fashion. Studio 15 donates proceeds from each sale to Ugandan female entrepreneurs who are starting their own business. I love supporting small businesses and it feels even better knowing that they are helping other women to succeed in business. In addition to their philanthropic mission, Studio 15 believes strongly in providing high-quality, on trend pieces at affordable prices. Some of my personal favorites are this checkered maxi dress, this tulip print skirt and this crop top + midi skirt combo.

Studio 15 was also kind enough to share a discount code for my lovely readers! You can take 25% off your purchase through 7/21 using the code LOVEMIRANDA. Now go take a look around and have fun shopping!

I wore this dress to my friend’s beach wedding in South Padre a few weekends ago, and it was so perfect for the occasion. I don’t typically gravitate towards yellow, but I couldn’t resist the fun colors of this dress. I love that the yellow and mint shades on this dress are cheery, but not too bright. The wedding we attended was literally on the beach, so we got to wear flip flops and sink our toes in the sand while we watched the ceremony. I had never attended a wedding literally on the beach before, so it was a really cool experience. Afterwards we got to dance the night away, and this was such a fun dress to swish around in!

Little White Dress + Lighter Hair Color Debut!

What do y’all think about my new, blond-ish hair? I’ve had this color for about two weeks now and I think I’m finally getting used to it! It was definitely weird to see at first, but I am really loving it. I used to be blonde several years ago, but I just like changing up my hair every once in a while. To be honest, my gray roots are getting worse and worse as I get older so I wanted to go with a lighter color overall. I got tired of seeing the stark difference between my gray roots and dark brown hair only 3-4 weeks after each hair color appointment. To be completely candid, it was also a total pain to Photoshop! I’m hoping that the lighter color will blend in better with my natural granny hair, so we’ll see what happens!

Anyway, how cute is this little white dress? I first wore this in another post that I wrote detailing my visit to A Splash of Sass boutique in Cypress, TX. I’ve actually worn this dress a few times now so I figured it was time to get some proper photos of me wearing it. This dress is just so unique and cool, which makes it one of my favorite things in my closet. I don’t have anything else like it! I love the mesh overlay and the slightly jagged hem, and the white is so fresh for summer. I paired it with a white necklace and white wedges, but kept things fun with these amazing floral sunnies! I wish I knew the brand of the sunglasses, but I bought them at a boutique in Memphis and have no idea how to find them online. I did link to several similar items in the shopping widget below though, so happy shopping!
